Bethesda Little League has the only official dimension
sized "Little League" baseball field located in the lower Montgomery County, MD area. The actual field was
pre-designed to meet the required field layout rules for actual game play as authorized and mandated by Little League
Baseball. Our field is fully groomed and chalk lined (with batters box) prior to each scheduled game. The real nice natural
turf grass outfield and fescue/bluegrass grass infield is groomed and maintained (weekly) by a professional sports turf management
company that also takes care of several college baseball fields and some high end golf courses. The infield basepaths are
composed of a professional ball diamond and turface mix while the batters box and pitching mound have been completely pro
style built with a solid forming base of clay bricks and professional ballfield infield/mound mix. The actual playing field
includes a new 6' high green safety coated home run fence (200' from home plate) and a new 10' wide blue stone gravel warning
track in the outfield. Bright new official little league and sponsor banners hang on the outfield home run fencing. Our field
also utilizes fully approved LL mandated safety break away bases. In addition the field site has a nice 10' wide asphalt walkway
that leads to the field from the parking lot and a 50 person new bleacher configuration behind home plate. To keep you informed
during games, we also utilize a wonderful scoretronics electronic wireless remote scoreboard. Last but not least....Concessions,
BBQ's and Family Gatherings are a regular part of our league during game days all season long.
