played vs. each of the OTHER division teams (5 games) for a total of 13 scheduled regular season games. First half of season winner for each league deemed after each team finishes
6th game. Second half of season winner for each league
deemed after each team finishes 13th game. 1st
half and 2nd half winners to meet in end of season semi final games. The two winners of semi final games then play for end of season league championship. If same team wins both half seasons, then they will get a bye in semi final round. Rain makeups will be made up as fast as possible. 4 innings will equal complete
game when bad weather or slow game. Special
Notes: 1. All games start and end promptly. No new innings after 1 hour and 45 minutes have expired. Two hours
max. game time. Score or outcome at end of 2 hours retreats to last completed full inning. Game must be at least 4 innings
to be a completed game though. Game must also have a winner. No Ties. 2. Special Memorial Day Little League Tourney
in Waldorf - interested teams will let me know later. Guaranteed 4 games played. 3. All Star Teams announced
on June 15th, 2010. 4. Each division will have a first half of season winner and a second half of season winner.
If two different teams, they will meet in semifinal showdown. Two semifinal winners play for final league championship. 5.
The half season winner teams will each get trophies and trophies awarded for the June final championship game winner. 6.
Go to website (during season) for daily game weather issues. 7. League standings will be updated weekly on website 8.
Each team will have a team parent that will handle weekly team communications under direction from league president. 9.
Uniforms will be arriving sometime in early April 10. Teams will practice starting in early April - more to follow
(vacation misses ok or allowed, no problem) 11. All returning players must also provide paperwork (see forms
page) prior to receiving a uniform and playing in a game or practice. 12. Schedule subject to change - i.e. rain
makeups and or the substitution of a little league interleague game (vs. another city) in the same Saturday slot of an
intraleague game. This type of change could either be a home or away game. Each team will have probably one or two
interleague games during the season. 13. Little league District 7 does not finish the schedule of interleague games
until end of April. 14. Tiebreakers for team record standings (first half, second half) = head to head if two teams.
If more than two teams or a tie after head to head or no head to head.......then it will be runs allowed (all games) by each
team using first similar total of games played for all teams involved in tie breaker. If another tie breaker is
still required, then same process used again but this time for runs scored. 15. Makeup game slots will be created
in weekday practice slots (Field #2 during 4-6 pm) once the original makeup slots are fully exhausted. 16. Little
League requires that each team play 12 regular season games. ALL GAMES (INTRA OR INTER) COUNT TOWARD STANDINGS. NO DISTINCTION
MADE. GAMES ARE GAMES. END OF FIRST HALF OF SEASON WILL BE AFTER ALL TEAMS PLAY 6 GAMES. END OF SECOND HALF SEASON
WILL BE AFTER ALL TEAMS PLAY 13 GAMES.
